This is the event description text, set the properties tool on the right. Use this area to provide a rundown of the event. The image below uses fixed background positioning, found under the Background tool (it is a small checkbox under the Background positioning grid), meaning that it does not scroll with the rest of the page content. Unchecking this will allow the image to scroll in with the content as it normally would. Adjust the "Size" settings to experiment with how the image should appear (hint: try "Contain" to make it fill the space and scale for different screen sizes and devices). Since this is the block for event details, be sure to provide the full address and date below, letting the info in the Cover Block serve as more of an "at a glance" overview.
Speaking of the Cover Block, some additional information: the repeated title background is stored in a repeatable in a container called "Background Titles Container" - if you don't want to use this, simply hide the container or repeatable. The Cover Block images are contained in an Image Container, displaced with negative margins. Experiment with different widths and images for interesting results. The second image, the one with the alt text "group of people taking part in a gift exchange," is set with the event image property. You can turn this off and set it to a different image as needed.
